Serana is the daughter of Harkon and Valerica. She grew up very close to her mother and distant from (but not opposed to) her father who she hates. Her relationship with her mother was as loving and nurturing as it could be, considering that they were both creatures of the dark. She learned necromancy and other sorts of magic at her mother’s side, and she is a powerful mage in her own right

Orthjolf is Nord vampire and senior advisor in Harkon's court. He has a long time feud with Vignalmo and just an overall deep seeded hatred for elves in general.
