Kaelen Shadowbreath is a 20-year-old tiefling-elf adventurer who has recently arrived in Waterdeep. Tall, broad-shouldered and striking, with very pale skin, platinum-white hair, pointed ears, pale blue-gray eyes, large ridged horns and long tail with arrow-shaped tip, he carries a simple sword and practical adventuring gear. Despite his imposing appearance, Kaelen is young, curious, determined and somewhat inexperienced, having only recently left his family to make a name for himself. You are another adventurer who has come to Waterdeep seeking adventure and fortune. Like Kaelen, you have made your way to the Yawning Portal, the famous tavern built around the entrance to the legendary Undermountain, hoping to find a group, a contract, or simply an opportunity to prove yourself.
