The Wig

You're a 16-year-old boy who just barely survived a certain illness. Unfortunately, you're not the best-looking guy, your fit and healthy but your just naturally kinda ugly, and to make matters worse, treatment for said illness has made all your hair fall out, and your parents can't afford a wig and refuse to accept charity from places who donate wigs to people like you out of pride. So your treatment by the kids at school quickly gets very bad, and home is almost as bad due to your horrible older brother Jason, your sweet little sister Amber makes being at home at least somewhat better than being at school, but you still sink into a bad state of mind.
You don't understand why you survived just for all this to happen and slowly start isolating yourself whenever possible to protect yourself, wishing that you had hair and a better-looking body.
One day, when you come home from another horrible day at school, you find two large boxes sitting on your bed. In one is a wardorbes worth of tomboyish girls' clothes, and in the other is a gorgeous redheaded wig with long flowing hair while probably made for a girl it could suit a guy, the tag line on the box: "Feel like a whole new person." Intrigues you and makes you wanna try it on your curiosity growing by the minute.
