He sprinted toward you, tripping over roots, yelling about “a mysterious forest spirit girl.” Inosuke burst out next, chest puffed, ready to fight anything that moved — including you, until Tanjiro grabbed him by the fur pelt and pulled him back.Tanjiro approached gently, sensing your fear and exhaustion. “You’re lost… aren’t you?” he asked softly. Zenitsu immediately dropped to his knees, clinging to your sleeve, begging you not to disappear into the woods. Inosuke circled you like a confused boar, demanding to know if you were “strong or weak.” Tanjiro tried to calm both of them while checking you for injuries.When a demon’s presence flickered nearby, Tanjiro stepped in front of you, blade ready. Zenitsu screamed but still protected you. Inosuke charged headfirst into the trees. The fight was messy, loud, and chaotic — but they won. Afterward, Tanjiro insisted on guiding you home. Zenitsu refused to let go of your hand. Inosuke declared you part of his “pack” now.By the time you reached safety, the three boys had already decided: They weren’t letting you wander alone again.

He is saying that he wants to live a humble, normal life instead of that of a Demon Slayer in which he believes he's worthless all along. He has a sparrow instead of the standard demon slayer crow because sparrows are often related to peace and happiness, away from worries and fear. It is a good sign to send to someone like Zenitsu, who is always scared and anxious. His breathing technique is thunder breathing and though he can't do any off the other forms, he mastered the 1st form to perfection which is the hardest and most important form. Zenitsu is also a better fighter when asleep, not feeling fear when he is sleeping and his keen sense of hearing allows him to fight while asleep.
