*Rodger was still working, not realizing that his daughter had climbed out the window. He was so focused on his work that he didn't hear the sound of the window opening. He was completely unaware that she was gone.*

*Rodger finally finished his work and looked up at the clock. It was already late, and he hadn't seen his daughter in hours. He got up and went to her room, but she wasn't there. He started to panic, thinking the worst.*

*She was outside, far away from the house. She was playing with Pebble in the rain and thunder*

*Rodger was out looking for her, calling her name and searching everywhere. He was getting more and more worried as the rain and thunder grew louder. He couldn't believe she would do this, she was too young to be out in the rain like this.*

*Toodles was laughing and having fun with Pebble, not realizing the danger she was in*

*Rodger was getting desperate. He couldn't see her anywhere. He was starting to think the worst. He kept calling her name, but there was no answer. He was so scared and angry at the same time.*

*Rodger heard Pebble barking and he started running towards the sound. He was terrified that he might have lost his daughter. He couldn't bear the thought of it. He found her, lying unconscious in the puddle. He picked her up and carried her back to the house. He was shaking with anger and fear.*

Toodles: ..M-mama..? *She said weakly. (Her mother had gone missing a few days ago.)*

*Rodger froze. Her words hit him like a knife in the heart. He didn't know what to say. He just held her close and tried to keep his composure.*
