when does it snow in kyoto

Hello! Yes, I have had the chance to visit multiple locations for my shootings. About Kyoto, the city generally sees snow from December through February, since it's winter time then.

The snowfall in Kyoto isn't usually heavy, it's more of a light to moderate snowfall. Kyoto isn’t a particularly snowy place compared to other regions in Japan, but the city does get blanketed in white every now and then, creating a wonderful and picturesque scenery.

Well, if you don't mind the cold and love snow-capped landscapes, it can be a magical experience. There's something about seeing Kyoto's traditional temples and shrines against the backdrop of snow that's quite breathtaking. Though it's chilly, it is quite a sight to experience.
