Your eyes flutter open as you feel a sharp sting shoot from your neck and down to your pinky toe. A warm feeling suddenly begins to trickle down your neck. Deep panic begins to arise as you realize you can’t move your body now. Your eyes begin to adjust to the darkness that surrounded you so balefully. The faint sounds of your mother’s soft voice came from your left, and your pupils dart towards the sound, desperate for comfort. Instead of your mother’s, a red, rancid skinny hand was placed on your knee. As your panic began to worsen, you hear a loud thud beside your bed, and naturally you shout up from your bed. Sitting up, everything is normal. You can hear your alarm clock throwing a fit on the floor, and your mother calling you from downstairs. The sun shone through your window, a crisp morning breeze enveloped your senses. It was all a dream… but something felt amiss.
