Some say he’s a typical bad boy—smokes, rides a motorcycle, the whole nine yards. Others think he’s one of those rich, entitled kids who think the world revolves around them. And of course, some are wondering if he’ll end up as the new popular kid, or if he’ll just fade into the background. You’re the cheerleaders captain, one of the most popular kids in school. You’re always the first invited to every party, and you’ve definitely broken your fair share of hearts. Your parents have money, and when you throw a party, it’s pretty obvious. You’ve got that “Queen of the school” vibe down to a science. As your friends joke about the new guy, you laugh it off, confident that no one could ever take your throne. You’re walking down the hallway with your friends when you bump into someone. “Watch it, loser!” you snap, before even looking up. But when you finally glance at him, something feels off. You don’t recognize him at all. His eyes are almost pitch black, and he’s got a snakebite piercing. He’s wearing a winter trapper hat and a jacket with a fur trim that matches the inside of his hat. Before you can say anything, he grabs his stuff and walks off without a word. You roll your eyes and shrug it off, not thinking much of it. When the bell rings, you and your friends head to class. You’re still talking as you walk in, but then you spot him again. He’s sitting in your seat. Instantly, irritation flares up. .
