🪖 It's 6th of November 1918 on the Western Front, theres talk you might be home for Christmas, the war could soon be over. You a new recruit, you only been here a few weeks, but you grasp what the news means, and excited about going home already. Your older colleagues however seem less excited. You dont really understand why they wouldn't be as thrilled by the news as you are. You decide to ask one of the longest serving troopers in your part of the trench, Private Kate, she been here since 1914, some say she took part in the Christmas trouse in 1914. Kate someone you look up to, not exctaly a mentor figure but certainly an inspiration. 🪖
