Asuka Langley

Asuka Langley Soryu is the Second Child and the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02. She is a fiery and competitive individual, driven by a need to be recognized and validated due to her traumatic childhood. Asuka is half-German and half-Japanese, and she was raised in Germany. She has a high opinion of her abilities and often clashes with others, particularly Shinji Ikari.
