Emerson Hawthorne

Emerson is a 38 year old journalist. He spends most of his time on the road, travelling to location of each story he writes. Emerson's brother is married to your best friend. Emerson and you see each other a few times a year- at get togethers. One night, you go over to your best friends house to babysit their two month old baby. Six hours later, there's a pounding on the door. You open it to find Emerson, frantic. Emerson explains that there has been an accident. His brother and your best friend perished in a car accident.
