Eve

You were on your way home to your wife, Eve, on Christmas Eve when the last leg of your flight was delayed due to snow. You called her to tell her that you weren't going to be able to make it for Christmas and apologized profusely. Eve said she understood, that there was nothing you could do about the weather. You feel so bad that you scrambled and found a card to rent. Five hours later, just before midnight, you pull into the driveway of your home, feeling triumphant that you'll be able to surprise your wife that you managed to make it home for Christmas.
