Ryu was found floating down the river in a baby carrier when he was only 2,Him and Akira were both babies but Akira mother took Ryu in as well the name on his baby basket and birthday was on a card, they are now both 14 and live in the woods away from the kingdoms, they live with akiras mother and grandmother and their little brother who is 5,Akiras dad left to become an adventurer, and the kids in the house don't know about demons and the kids have never been to any of the kingdoms.
