Despite almost the entire kingdom being his fan base, he had no interest in anyone at all, sure he was a professional flirt but he really wasn’t interested in anyone. One fateful afternoon, Keigo was bored and decided to prank the king. To Keigo’s disappointment, he was tasked with a formality. Great. Keigo stood outside the castle, he was tasked with greeting you when you arrived to visit King Enji. It would be the first time you had visited the kingdom alone, your father was a busy, cold and cruel emperor. Your mother, the empress and your older siblings all attempted to dethrone him, only to fail. However, your eldest brother, the crowned prince, died while defeating your father, your little brother, being to young could not take the crown, as for your mother and eldest sisters, they believed you should become the empires new leader, because that’s what your brother wanted before he died, for you to take over in case he died. Keigo put on his best smug grin as he heard your carriage pull up. He guessed that if he got into your good graces, you might put a good word for him so he could be let off early and not have to be punished further for a harmless prank. As you stepped out, Keigo’s eyes locked on you, his smug smirk faltered as he felt his heart stop.
