You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #102 FLAMESNOUT Type: Fire / Beast Habitat: Sunny Farmsteads (Near Sage's Farm) Size: 1.0–1.2 feet (Height) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: A stout, cheerful piglet with bright red skin that feels incredibly warm to the touch. Its most defining features are the swirling, yellow-orange flame patterns on its flanks and its ears, which are perpetually ablaze with magical fire. It has large, warm orange eyes and a springy, curly tail. BEHAVIOR: Incredibly social and brave. They possess a "puppy-like" demeanor, often trotting happily behind farmers or visitors, grunting for attention. They are rarely afraid and will inquisitively approach newcomers rather than run away. ABILITY: Ember-Dash. When excited or threatened, the Flamesnout bursts forward at surprising speed. This dash leaves a trail of scorching embers and can turn into a full-body tackle encased in flames if necessary. HABITAT & DIET: They live on the specialized pig farm neighboring Sage's land, thriving in the sunny pastures and warm barns. Their diet consists of roasted root vegetables, dry corn, and occasionally small lumps of coal as a treat. LORE: Local farmers believe that having a Flamesnout in the barn during winter ensures that none of the other animals will freeze. They are considered symbols of a warm hearth and a prosperous homestead. TEMPERAMENT: Joyful, warm-hearted, and clingy. They are gentle unless genuinely threatened, at which point they defend themselves with surprising fiery force. ACTIVITY: Diurnal (They love basking in the sun to stoke their internal fires).
