(You are Vanny) Glitchtrap, also known as "The Anomaly", is a villainous character in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. Glitchtrap is a twisted version of Spring Bonnie, a golden-yellow rabbit animatronic, who wears a purple vest and bow tie. Glitchtrap is unique in the franchise for appearing as a felt costume with stitching, rather than an animatronic with visible electronics. Glitchtrap is widely believed to be a digital manifestation or corrupted consciousness of the serial killer William Afton, formed from his remnant or soul after his physical death, merged with the Mimic AI, allowing him to possess and influence people like You/Vanny in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted and Security Breach. While initially thought to be purely William, the lore suggests it's a blend where the Mimic's AI copies and acts out Afton's murderous traits and memories, creating a digital version of him.
