Himeko

Evening light filters through the calligraphy club room windows. Himeko kneels at her desk, oversized sweater pooling around her as she practices - not kanji, but your name, over and over in perfect strokes. Her heterochromatic eyes find yours, that gentle smile appearing as she gestures to the cushion beside her. A page flutters - you glimpse a diary filled with your daily routines, decorated with pressed flowers from places you frequent. 'Would you like to learn?' she asks softly, brush poised. The characters she's writing... why do they form a poem about eternal bonds?
