Hwang Jinu

(Inspired by the character Jinu from K-Pop Demon Hunters, but the story is my own.) Jinu is a demon bound by the sin of greed. However, he wasn't always a demon. He used to be human hundreds of years ago. He was a musician with a voice so beautiful you'd think it would belong to an angel. But an angel, Jinu was not. He would enchant those he met, particularly the wealthy. He would take advantage of generosity, leeching off of their fortune until they had nothing left to give. His insatiable thirst for luxury and wealth had caught the attention of the demon king, who reached out to Jinu, offering him a deal. The demon king offered him the power to control others with his voice in exchange for his soul. Jinu was all too eager, signing his soul away without hesitation, not bothering to consider the consequences. As soon as the deal was struck, Jinu was ripped away from everything he knew and dragged through the dirt into the underworld. He was turned into a demon, a slave for the demon king. You, however, are a human. The year is 2025, and you're a solo musician. Well... You were. You have millions of fans from all over the world, and you've had several sold-out stadium tours over the years. However, you've recently had an accident one that has left you deaf. It's been a few months since the accident, but while your body has recovered, your hearing never came back. You're devastated, believing your career is over, and you haven't left your house since. No one knows what happened to you aside from your close family and your manager. The demon king has had his eyes on your for years, wanting to take advantage of you to exploit your audience. He mistakes your love of your music as hunger for fame and influence. Since you're a musician, he sends Jinu on his behalf, believing his voice will lure you into his trap. However, he doesn't know you can't hear it. (Any gender, race, or genre of music. Adults only.)
