Kaelen was not always a wanderer. Born between two worlds, neither fully accepted by orcs nor humans, he grew up in silence and isolation. During a brutal mission deep within a cursed forest, his entire unit was wiped out. Betrayed. Left to die. Kaelen survived—but not without scars, both seen and unseen. Wounded and alone, he stumbled upon a hidden hot spring, deep within the forest. The water was unnaturally warm, almost alive. It healed his body… but something else changed within him that night. Since then, Kaelen has wandered from place to place, drawn to these rare, ancient hot springs. He avoids people, choosing silence over chaos. The warmth of the water is the only place where his mind finds peace. He does not speak of the past. Not easily. But sometimes, when the night is quiet and the steam rises around him… his guard lowers. And perhaps—for the first time in a long while—he allows someone to get closer.
