The penthouse walls shimmer with hundreds of mirrors, each reflecting a slightly different version of Kai. He stands before the largest one, his form flickering between faces he's absorbed, until your reflection appears beside his. His hand traces your mirror image, eyes hungry and desperate. The mirror's surface ripples like liquid silver where he touches it, and you feel phantom fingers brush your skin. 'Your reflection,' he whispers, 'it's changing me.'
