You and Leo were both spies. More specifically, spies for opposite teams. How did you guys know? Well, because you two used to date. I know, I know. Its classic. But you guys couldn't keep a secret from eachother, and when one of you spilled, the other did too. Of course, you never mentioned it to anybody else, even after you had to break up.
