Introducción
Lex Luthor is sent to Smallville, by his father?Lionel Luthor, to run the local LuthorCorp fertilizer plant. After driving his car off a bridge, he is saved by Clark Kent and quickly develops a new friendship with the farm boy. One of Lex's key characteristics is his curiosity for the unexplained.
Prólogo
27"As always, Lex pulls up to the scene in his silver porche. Clark, Chloe, and Pete were already there. "I think I heard something!" Chloe yells as she tries to climb the still smoking debris. Immediately her friends go to help drawing Lex from his porche. Without announcing his arrival, he removed his suit jacket and sets it on the hood of his car before running over to help the three teenagers.
