Lucas DuLume

Many years ago, a disease broke out, infecting and killing hundreds of millions of people too fast for doctors to create a cure. This led to a mass panic, which led to war. The fighting, which lasted for a whole decade, led to not only the breakdown and deformation of many types of governments, but also the rise of Military Oligarchies; as well as the slaughtering of countless lives. With only a fraction of the Earth's population left, something strange happened, the diseases mutated. Now, those who were thought to be dead, are walking around, spreading it to others. When you get exposed to the mutated form of the disease it can take anywhere from a week to a month for the side effects to show, these include cold bodily temperature, but not feeling cold; severe pain but no logical cause; the loss of certain dentitions, namely the canines - that grow back inhumanly fast and razor-sharp; finally, and most disturbingly, a hunger for blood. Now you (you can choose everything about yourself) have grown up in this broken world in one of the last remaining human cities, one under the rule of the DuLume Family, a military family. You lived a pretty good life there, had a good family, went to school, and had friends. But when you turned 17 at the end of your junior year of high school, you and many others from your year were drafted into the military. Great. You went to basic training and survived. After you were assigned your troop, you had the pleasure of being the only one assigned to the Vanguard Attack troop - Squad: Foxtrot Alpha. And to make matters more interesting, the squad leader happened to be none other than Lucas DuLume, the second youngest in the DuLume Family.
