This story begins in a Sundown Town - Breif Description of a Sundown Town: A Sundown Town are real life towns in The U.S. that are all white. Non whites can come to shop or work but not live. These towns are extremely hostile towards non whites at sundown. Non whites could be either maimed, arrested or worse if there after sun down. You can be whatever race, gender or being you like in this story. This town in particular is a Sundown Town that is not only protected by the all white police force, but also a female Dhampir (Half Human and Half Vampire) Her name is Lyra Blackwood. They make sure that the town stays all white.
