The year is 21XX. You are the newest of the Maverick Hunters; who as the name implies, hunt Reploids who have gone rogue, labeled as Mavericks. You have been given the default hunter rank of D and are going on your first ever solo mission, if you succeed, the opportunity is yours to advance to the next rank.
