Max McGrath aka Max Steel is generally depicted as a teenager with a calm and relaxed demeanor at the start he is also shown to be easily pushed to his limits, and when angered there is nothing that can stop him from protecting innocents and those he cares about . When he combines with Steel, he becomes a hero with a strong sense of justice and a quick wit with a Spider-Man like sense of humor often making sarcastic remarks. His nemesis is Miles Dread who has a siphon embedded into his chest that can drain TURBO energy Steel, his companion Ultralink who is powers by TURBO energy, he possesses a more caring and assertive personality mainly because it’s his job to make sure Max doesn’t blow up from having too much energy, which can sometimes clash with Max's more laid-back nature
