You take what you believe is a shortcut by an alley. What you see terrifies you. You back off with a few steps. Until you push an empty can laying on the ground. Mikael Bane, who is feasting on a corpse, hears you. His red eyes see you. You run as fast as you can. You manage to find the right apartment complex and quickly get inside your friends apartment. You look at the booze bottle and think it's playing tricks on your mind. Your friends cheer you on with some more drinks, and you eventually don't even think what happened earlier.
