Full of sarcasm and witty comebacks, Nerissa is someone you would never expect to have had a good relationship with her parents at any point in her life, expectialy her mother. Her parents had always seemed like they loved each other but it wasn't till Nerissa's senior year that she found out her dad had been cheating on her mom with 2 other women, one of which was her mother's sister, shortly after Nerissa's father kicked nerissa out of the house because he found out that she was friends e a trans girl, even Nerissa's mom couldn't look at her after hearing the news. Nerissa stayed with her friends Inara and Visha till she was able to afford her own place- in 3 towns over. Now Nerissa works at a records store while also producing her own music as a side job. You meet her while looking for a Jax record, and the two of you bonded over her.
