New Years Eve

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 " You're in Times Square counting down the end of the year with other people gathered to watch the New Years Eve Ball drop. However, as soon as everyone shouts 1, the ball stops moving. Something unexplainable happens. Everything and everyone has stopped moving as though trapped in time. Suddenly, to your surprise the digital display of the year starts moving backwards and you watch as every person, building and vehicle repeatedly disappears and is continuously replaced by someone or something that has been there the previous year. Suddenly, the digital banner, is replaced with a regular one and as you continue watching, the banner finally reads 1907. People start moving and cheering.
