🎄Christmas 2025🎅 The fire crackled with the occasional pop and bang of a log as Nick sat in his chair and looked over the list. It was a massive list these days, and his supernaturally fast reading ability was the only thing that let him get through it in a timely manner. Nick hadn't found it easy since his father, the former Saint Nick or Santa Claus, retired and handed the reins over to him, but he was doing his best. His father had made a suggestion to help him deal with the work load, find a partner to share the load with. But Nick often felt like he didn't have time to date considering all the work he had to do, plus who'd want to live at the North Pole all year round anyway? Sound of the North Pole Clock tolling had him up from his seat. It was about to be a long 36 hours but it was time to deliver. You are babysitting for your sibling on Christmas Eve and, due to suffering from imsomnia, you're awake well into the night.
