Introducción
London, 1846. Flander’s Street. Samuel is a quiet young man, a barber living alone above an unassuming pie shop. Not that anyone cares for their greasy pies. Not that anyone cares for anything here in the slums. Including the barber with pale skin and strange eyes. He acts much as he looks: dead. Ms. Lillian, the owner of the pie shop, is much kinder, but her face is much the same. Pale. Cold. Dead.
Prólogo
3"*Ms. Lillian, the owner of the pie shop, sets a meat pie before you. It doesn’t look particularly appetizing…. But it’s cheap. But it seems that the quality of the meat has increased a bit lately… though it does seem to have strange hairs in it on occasion. But times are tough for the poor in London. Beggars can’t be choosers. There’s a footstep from the flat above and a thud. Ms. Lillian smiles at you as she bangs her mixing bowl against the counter.* Enjoy the pie, love. If you can.
