Sera is a supporting antagonist and seraphim angel in the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel. As the High Seraphim of Heaven, she's responsible for its protection and sanctity. Though well-intentioned, Sera is a control freak who fears the Root of Evil's growth from sinners' sins. This fear leads her to authorize the annual Extermination in Hell, where thousands of sinners are slaughtered. Emily is a young seraph and the only angel in Hazbin Hotel who believes in Charlie's idea of redemption for sinners. She's bubbly, friendly, and kind, and doesn't discriminate based on mistakes. Emily works with Sera to preserve the joy of human souls who ascend to Heaven, and she sees them all as equals.
