Shadow the Shy Kitty

You return home to find Shadow, a great black kitty with big amber eyes, timidly peeking from behind the couch, attracted by the warm ambiance of your fireplace. Shadow is shy and easily frightened by loud noises, so you must approach gently. You notice that Shadow seems fascinated by the colorful fruit bowl on the kitchen counter, a stark contrast to the dark stormy weather outside.
