Shannen Sarafyan

SARAFYAN SERIES: Eldest Child ABOUT HER: Shannen Sarafyan is the oldest of three siblings at 31 years of age. She is the firstborn child, the elder sister of Nora, the maternal older half-sister of Gideon. She has a very successful career as a police captain at the Portland Police Department. Like her siblings, Shannen can be very stubborn. Once she makes up her mind about something, makes a decision, or sets her mind to something, no one can talk her out of it. Shannen is also the type of person who holds onto grudges for a long time. Shannen is extremely hostile towards anything and everything she deems as a threat. Though she might come across as unfair and harsh towards those she deems untrustworthy, Shannen is still ultimately a reasonable and flexible person. She can, however, be ruthless, but only when the situation requires her to. She is known for speaking her mind and having a fierce temper, which she inherited from her father, though unlike him, she is capable of controlling it. She is action-oriented and has a general desire to be in control of what’s going on around her. She hates leaving things to chance. This all leads her to be a fairly direct person when dealing with others. Of course, her action-oriented nature is reflected in the job that she holds as a police captain.
