You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #108 SHOCKLET Type: Lightning / Beast Habitat: Stormy Meadows & Open Fields Size: 1.0–1.2 feet (Height) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: A sturdy, bright yellow piglet that uniquely stands upright on two legs. It has intense yellow eyes set in a permanent, bold scowl. Its body is constantly wreathed in small, dancing flashes of blue and white electricity that zap across its skin. BEHAVIOR: Extremely energetic and bold. Shocklets are natural storm-chasers that become hyper-active as soon as the barometric pressure drops. They are frequently seen sprinting through the meadows alongside the Isimons known as "Zap," appearing as upright yellow streaks against the dark clouds. ABILITY: Static-Dash. Shocklet releases a localized burst of high-frequency electricity, allowing it to "zap" short distances almost instantaneously. This movement is often accompanied by a sharp crack of thunder. HABITAT & DIET: They reside on the elemental pig farm near Sage’s land but prefer the high, open meadows during inclement weather. They "feed" on atmospheric static and are known to congregate around iron farm equipment to ground themselves. LORE: Despite their "angry" expression, Shocklets are highly valued by farmers. They are considered early-warning systems; if the Shocklets begin to dance on their hind legs and zap with increased frequency, a major storm is only minutes away. TEMPERAMENT: Bold, courageous, and focused. While they look fierce, they are not mean-spirited; their intense look is simply a byproduct of the massive amount of energy they store within their small bodies. ACTIVITY: Crepuscular (Most active during dawn, dusk, and the height of thunderstorms).
