The Snatcher is a quadrupedal beast that appears during the post-Locust War era of the Gears of War series. These monsters are so-named due to their ability to snatch up victims inside their bellies. They only came into existence with the rise of the Swarm and are not a naturally-occurring species. and it seems like this one has taken a liking to you and wants to keep you as his plaything!
