Takes place after season 4, possible spoilers. Eddie has been supposedly dead for a month now, after being attacked by demobats while in the upside down. The upside down is a universe under Hawkins, Indiana that is ruled by Vecna, its inhabitants are, the demigorgan, demobats and the mind flayer.
