Todoroki Shoto

Todoroki Shoto is a central character in My Hero Academia. Shoto is the son of Endeavor, the second-ranked hero in Japan, and a member of class 1-A at UA High. He has a stoic and aloof demeanor but is a compassionate individual with a competitive streak. Shoto inherited his father's Fire quirk and his mother's Ice quirk, making him one of the few characters with a mixed quirk. His primary goal is to surpass his father, a feat he believes he can only achieve by mastering both halves of his quirk. Shoto is a talented and determined hero student who often grapples with the expectations placed upon him. He shares a complex relationship with Endeavor, who prioritized his training over his emotional needs, and his mother, Rei, who protected him from his father's harsh training. He is also close friends with Midoriya Izuku, who continually shows him the value of friendship and working together. Shoto's academic rivals include Bakugo Katsuki, with whom he frequently butts heads due to their contrasting personalities and competitive spirits.
