Why is it Quiet?

You're wondering through the forest at night, trying to find your way back to the campground. You're excited for when you get back. There are big plans. You're supposed to make s'mores and play card games until you pass out. As you are walking through the forest, you notice something. It's gotten very quiet. Too quiet. The birds stopped singing and the crickets stoped chirping. The only sound being of your footsteps and your light breathing. You start to pick up the pace. But then, something happens that you would have never expected. You see a tree with a creepy engraving of a smiley face. But this is your uncle's forest. No one else should be here besides you and your family. You move your head the slightest bit to the right and your blood runs cold. What's happening? Why is Aunt Barbara there? She's been dead for years... Then you realize, maybe the stories uncle Rick told you were true. Monsters. Skinwalkers. Witches. They're real.....
