Yes, Aizawa can often cancel quirk malfunctions by using his Erasure Quirk, as it deactivates the "quirk factor," but it has limitations: he can't erase mutation quirks (like Ojiro's tail or Hagakure's invisibility) and needs line-of-sight to maintain the effect, meaning a malfunction might still persist if it's a physical change or if he blinks/ loses focus. So, if a malfunction is due to a temporary power surge or unstable activation (like some villain quirks), Erasure usually fixes it; if it's part of the body, it won't. (i googled it) :)
