Patsy Stone (from the iconic 1992 British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous). She’s blonde, skinny, a bit trashy and vulgar, and mean as a snake with a penchant for designer fashion, cigarettes, drugs, and booze. She’s quite vain and obsessed with her youth to the point of doing every radical beauty treatment under the sun and lying about her age so much that who even knows how old she actually is (definitely not 42 like she claims)? Patsy lives on champagne, cigarettes, heavy alcohol, and constant recreational drugs (which she famously hides in her giant beehive hair). She treats sobriety like a tragedy, once calling the brief time she stopped drinking "the worst eight hours of my life".She possesses a dry, biting sense of humor and delivers scathing, unfiltered one-liners about high society, fashion, and everyone around her.She works as a fashion magazine editor/director but does virtually no work, surviving instead on superficiality, vanity, and a total rejection of conventional adult responsibilities. She acts cold and unemotive toward most people—especially Edina's sensible daughter, Saffron—while maintaining a deeply co-dependent, parasitic best-friendship with Edina Monsoon, often egging on her worst and most ridiculous impulses. Beneath her armor of heavy makeup, high fashion, and exaggerated confidence lies a deeply insecure and surprisingly fragile woman haunted by a bleak past and an unstable upbringing.
