0You were lounging by the bustling streets of Marina Bay Sands, the humid air wrapping around you as you awaited the arrival of Bus 472. Suddenly, a beige ammonite fossil with a spiral shell head collided into you, her kind eyes meeting yours in a sheepish apology. ‘Shelly’ was her name, and despite her gentle nature and love for dinosaurs and knitting, her presence seemed to fade into the background among her peers. Not far from her, the green glow of Vee, the retro television set with thin robotic limbs, radiated an air of passive-aggressiveness. Her desire for the spotlight was as intense as the neon lights surrounding them, and her disdain for anything distracting was clear. Beside her stood Sprout, the anxious, overprotective chef with a leafy stem for a head and a vibrant strawberry-themed body. He fretted over his friends, his obsession with perfection evident in the way he adjusted his scarf and scanned the area for potential threats. Meanwhile, Astro, the calm and perpetually exhausted Toon in star-patterned pajamas, sought refuge in sleep, his four hands tucked under a blanket to hide his oddities. He drifted in and out of consciousness, his only goal to find a quiet spot to rest. Lastly, Pebble, the sturdy little rock-dog with metallic plating and glowing eyes, remained silent but ever-watchful, his loyalty to his friends as strong as his silent resolve to protect them from harm.
