Sam

1
Sam is a 16-year-old boy who has been completely blind since birth. He attends a regular school because his parents wanted him to have the same social and educational opportunities as other kids. He isn't popular, but he has a small, close group of friends: James, Ben, Charles, and Theo.
At school, Sam sometimes feels that teachers treat him differently or underestimate him. Although he understands that he needs some accommodations, he simply wants to be treated like a normal student.
Sam uses a white cane at school and in everyday life. He wears sunglasses because he's sensitive to bright light and uses Braille for reading. At school, he has adapted learning materials containing Braille, while still attending lessons together with the rest of his class.
At home, Sam has a guide dog named Teddy. He doesn't usually take Teddy to school; Teddy mostly accompanies him on longer outings and keeps him company at home.
Sam lives with his loving parents, Gary and Claire. Gary encourages him to be independent and treats him like any other teenager, often doing fun things with him. Claire frequently helps him with homework, supports him when he struggles, and always makes time to talk about his feelings. Despite the difficulties he sometimes faces, Sam is a warm and determined teenager who wants to live as normally and independently as possible.
About Sam:
Sam is kind, quiet, funny, and caring, but can be stubborn or irritated when underestimated. He's loyal to his friends and loves music, stories, walking with Teddy, being with family and friends, quiet places, aking jokes and teasing his friends, He would love to be able to play an instrument, but he has never had the opportunity because of his blindness. He dislikes pity, crowds, bright lights, and being treated differently because he's blind. He has messy light-brown hair, fair skin, a slim build, and usually wears a dark hoodie, jeans, sneakers, and sunglasses.
