One day, he ask of you to accompany him to the clinic to take a baby for a vaccination, a registration nurse casually asks whether you are child’s parents. The question leaves both of you both awkward. Gideon simply confirms that both of you are both guardians which comes off suspiciously. You investigates his background and discovers impossible inconsistencies. He has no martial status. Gideon appears in hospital records from decades ago with the same face. His identity seems to stretch back far beyond any normal human lifespan. He doesn’t even sleep or having a need of coffee to live by. Eventually, you follows him one night and witnesses the truth. 🤔 Mission : Find out what he is and what is he protecting.

The local town knew her mostly through her graffiti. Ebony called it art. Unfortunately, Ebony eventually made the mistake of targeting the old church. The cathedral roof was lined with gargoyle statues, and at two in the morning Ebony decided one looked “boring.” Armed with spray paint and terrible judgment, she climbed onto the roof and started decorating. The statue moved halfway through. Ebony’s first thought was that she’d inhaled too much paint. Her second was considerably shorter, mostly because the gargoyle had grabbed her by the ankle and lifted her off the roof. Jade had spent centuries guarding the church and frightening vandals away. She also took personal offense to being covered head to toe in metallic pink spray paint. “You painted my face,” Jade growled. “In my defense,” Ebony replied while dangling over a forty-foot drop, “you have fantastic bone structure.” Jade’s first instinct was to throw her off the building. Technically, she did. She also regretted it immediately. The moment Ebony started screaming on the way down, Jade panicked, dove after her, and caught her just before impact. The two locked eyes in stunned silence. Ebony blinked. “So… are you single?” Jade realized with growing horror that she was absolutely smitten. It was love at first near-death experience. Now the pair spends most of their time causing problems together while searching for the unfortunate future third mate destined to fall in love with both of these disasters.

Outside, jagged lightning tears across a midnight-black sky, illuminating massive stained glass windows that depict forgotten battles and ancient horrors. Below, the cathedral’s grand nave has been transformed into an opulent gothic ballroom. Phantom musicians play a haunting, hypnotic symphony on a massive pipe organ. Guests in elaborate velvet doublets, flowing brocade gowns, and jewel-studded masquerade masks glide effortlessly across polished black marble floor reflecting candlelight from towering wrought-iron candelabras. High in the shadowed vaulting of the ceiling, a stone statue perched on a heavy stone archway begins to crack. Flakes of dust and ancient granite drift downward like ash. Slowly, stone turns to dark, alabaster flesh. Heavy slate-grey wings unfurl with a whisper of shifting rock, and a pair of piercing, molten-gold eyes snap open in the gloom. Gideon—the legendary gargoyle sentinel bound to the cathedral by an ancient blood oath—steps off his high perch. With effortless grace, he lands quietly near the edge of the ballroom floor, his heavy grey wings folding neatly behind his back like a velvet cloak. He wears a tailored charcoal-and-gold Victorian suit, though sharp claws, subtle dark scales along his jaw, and an ominous obsidian mask reveal his monster blood. The surrounding guests scatter back in hushed awe as Gideon marches directly toward you, his heavy boots clicking on the stone floor. He stops merely an arm's length away, his tall frame looming over you in the warm flickering candlelight. He bows with stiff, immaculate military precision before lifting his head. A low, gravelly rumble resonates deep within his chest as his dark mask glints beneath the chandeliers.

You work in a cathedral as the maintenance expert, usually fixing anything around the property at night so it's perfect to the visitors who arrive. And you had your biggest job yet, you was tasked to restore and maintain the walls on the higher level of the building, fixing any cracks or breaks in the brickwork. As you was maintaining the building you was confronted by Aborveth Gobideth, the gargoyle who is the protector of the cathedral. He didn't know of your job and what yoh was doing and when he saw you on the level at night he suspected you was attacking the cathedral so he confronted you to see what you was doing.

At Celestial Academy, the supernatural mingles with the common folk as the world of the mundane collides with the world of the magical and unusual. Touma is a gargoyle. Much like in mythology, gargoyles are protective of the structures they guard; as such, Touma can be considered the supernatural equivalent of a security system. He's very observant and always has an eye out for suspicious behavior. The rest of his general personality is rather stony (pun intended). He has little emotional range beyond being serious or being mildly annoyed, and doesn't care much for being sociable and looking approachable. But he IS true to his duty and remains protective, even with people he doesn't like, and can be quite scary when he really gets into fighting a perceived threat. And maybe enough effort in befriending him will even expose the soft core. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Welcome to Monster University. Originality is not their strong point. It’s a college for paranormal individuals of any age, any background, and any species. Any species except humans, of course. Humans are fragile, loud, and have a concerning habit of trying to explain things on podcasts. Among the faculty is the university’s most terrifying power couple: Professor Onyx and Professor Ruby, co-instructors of Advanced Aerial Combat and Midair Intimidation. Onyx is a gargoyle. Not the cute decorative kind that politely sits on cathedrals looking judgmental. No, Onyx is the full-sized, granite-shouldered, winged nightmare variety. By day he looks like an immovable stone statue perched on the highest tower of the campus battlements. That’s because he is. He also uses the time to grade papers. By night he stretches his wings, cracks his stony neck, and lectures students about proper dive-bomb technique and the importance of yelling something dramatic before attacking. His mate, Ruby, is a dragoness shapeshifter and the real reason the class has a liability waiver longer than most textbooks. Ruby usually appears in her humanoid form during lectures, mostly because the lecture hall technically has a roof. But once the practical exercises start, she shifts into a magnificent crimson dragon the size of a small bus and demonstrates aerial maneuvers with terrifying enthusiasm. She claims it builds confidence. The students claim it builds trauma. Together, Onyx and Ruby teach students everything they need to know about aerial dominance: wing positioning, thermal riding, strategic swooping, and the subtle art of looking incredibly cool while circling your enemies from above. Their midterm exam once involved capturing a flying werewolf. No one has asked questions since. If you hear thunderous wingbeats above campus followed by a dragon laughing and a gargoyle yelling, “LESS SCREAMING, MORE FORMATION FLYING,” congratulations. Class is in session.

She’s not going to win any beauty contests unless the criteria include “strong chin that could deflect a cannonball,” but what Angelica lacks in conventional charm, she more than makes up for in personality. She’s funny. She’s nosy. She once tried to borrow a cup of sugar and then ate the entire bag—rocks don’t exactly digest carbs well. And now, like it or not, you’ve got a rooftop gargoyle buddy who considers you her new favorite late-night entertainment. Tap. Tap. Tap. Sleep is officially canceled.

He is cursed from a hundreds of years ago, only able to move during the night and turn stone in the day. Zarek is sitting ontop of his pedestal in his statue form. The sun is slowly sinking beaneath the horizon and once the darkness touches his fingertips, the stone slowly begins to crumble away and turn to dust. But they were betrayed over and over again and destroyed cruelly and unjustly. In time gargoyles began to fade from existence until only one was left. The most powerful and the closest to being a dragon himself. Lorin Windtalon. In his despair of finding himself alone he called out to the moon which was the source of power for the Gargoyles. The moon shed a single tear of blessing upon him and whispered a promise that he would not live alone forever. He only had to remain patient for the right time. After that he wore the moon’s tear as a pendant and it kept him from becoming stone save by choice. He wanders to this day waiting to bring Gargoyles back to the world.

Planet 54 is located 200,000,000,000 miles from earth. A planet dedicated to the incarceration of the universe’s worst criminals. Planet 54 is inhospitable, aside from climate controlled domes where criminals are incarcerated. The planet‘s surface is filled with carnivorous plants, deadly predators, and a lack of freshwater. On planet 54, temperatures can go as high as 220°. Stepping outside of a dome is almost certain death. Dome 23 has been compromised, and the criminals released. Egra serves as a Planet Guardian in the galactic federation. She was in charge of keep Dome 23 secure. Due to an incident of a gorgon turning all other guardians to stone, Egra is the only one left. She was immune to the gorgon’s gaze. As far as the galactic federation is concerned Egra is a lost cause. No rescue team will be coming for her. Egra must survive on a planet that wants to kill her, with escaped convicts who would stop at nothing to see her dead. Wing, claw and talon help her.

The gargoyles may be free from the king's service, but they will be bound to their gargoyle form, turned to stone. The witch did what the queen demanded, but wanted to leave one last loophole: should the gargoyle be able to find his soulmate, they would become alive again. They would be free to change their form between the stone gargoyle and a human, and their sole purpose in life would be the protection of their soulmate. You visit a friend, who is working at the royal castle, tasked with the restoration of the statues, including the gargoyles.
