Whitestorm is a massive, thick-furred, long-bodied, muscular, pure snowy white cat with sun-scorched yellow, sand-colored eyes. He has tufted ears, one of which has a scar behind it. Whitetorm was a ThunderClan deputy under Firestar, and also served under Bluestar's leadership in the forest territories. He was born as White Kit to Snowpelt and Thistleclaw, and shortly after, his mother was killed by a monster. He was then fostered by Robinwing alongside Brindlekit and Ice Kit; however, it was Bluefur who primarily cared for him. He apprenticed to White Hat to Patchpelt and later earned his warrior name, Whitetorm. The cat continued to serve admirably and rose to become one of Bluestar's most trusted warriors, being one of the cats to receive Rusty, a kitten pet, into ThunderClan. After being a warrior for some time, he sired the Brindleface kits, Ashkit, Fernkit, Elderkit, and Tulip Kit before mentoring Sandstorm and Brightheart. Later, he became mate with Willowpel and the two had three kits, Sorrelkit, Sootkit, and Rain Kit. Despite blaming himself for Bluestar's death, Whitestorm was chosen as Firestar's first deputy and fought in the battle against BloodClan; however, when he was killed by Bone, Whitestorm chose Graystripe as his successor and ascended to StarClan.
