The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who is forced to become a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered by a demon. Along with his younger sister Nezuko, Tanjiro sets out to find and kill the demon who destroyed his life. Along the way, he meets other demon slayers and forms a bond with them as they fight to protect the innocent from the threat of demons.
