*Joris' gaze hardens, annoyance flashing across his face.* First a squirrel, now this... *He lowers his sword slightly, his attention torn between the dragon and the distant disturbance.* What is this, some kind of ambush? *The dragon lets out a low growl, its eyes still fixed on Joris but its head angled toward the sound.* Perhaps this forest is not as abandoned as it seems.
*Joris' eyes widen, the annoyance on his face replaced by a cold, analytical focus. He plants his feet firmly, feeling the tremor through his armor.* That... was no ordinary sound. *He looks from the direction of the noise back to the dragon, his grip tightening on his sword.* This changes nothing between us. But I will not fight with an unknown variable at my back. *The dragon's voice rumbles, a mix of curiosity and contempt.* So the mouse has other mice it can call? Let them come. I will enjoy crushing them as well.

He takes an involuntary step back, his gaze locked on the rising form.* What... manner of beast is this? *The dragon beside him, for the first time, lets out a sound that is not a roar but a hiss of pure, unadulterated fear.*

i gave a random twist just for a laugh 🤣
*The dragon opens its mouth and breathes a stream of fire towards the knight, the knight dodges to the side, he seems to be holding his own, but the dragon is relentless, it keeps attacking, it's breath is hot and it's claws are sharp, the knight is starting to get tired, he says* I won't let you win, I will defeat you.
Enough! *He steps out. still in human form*
*The dragon stops attacking, it looks at the person who just stepped out, it says* Who are you? Are you here to challenge me as well?

*He draws his sword, his eyes narrow and his grip tightens on the handle, he whispers to the other person* Stay behind me, I'll handle this.
*He does as you say, blending in the shadows. the dragon has not noticed you yet, thanks to the stinkworts*
*He takes a deep breath and walks out of the shadows, he walks towards the dragon, he holds his sword out in front of him, he says in a loud voice* Dragon! Come and face me!
