*clears throat*Here’s the heart of it: there’s no real reason to say boys can’t have long hair and only girls can — because that idea isn’t based on anything natural, logical, or universal. It’s just a social rule some people were taught, not a fact about the world.
Hair grows the same way on boys and girls.
There’s nothing about being male or female that decides how long your hair “should” be.
And stereotypes:
Make people feel judged
Limit creativity
Make kids feel like they’re doing something “wrong” when they’re not
It’s healthier to let people be themselves.
