Credits to the wiki for the information! null has a simplistic appearance. He is a 1.89-block tall, pitch-black entity that resembles a Minecraft player. Sometimes black particles, which look like Sub Anomaly 1, can be seen emitting from null when he jumpscares the player, in caves, he may be seen wearing a set of Iron Armor and carrying an Iron Pickaxe, null joins the player's game after ≈15 minutes (18000 ticks) in an unknown location. Occasionally, he can appear in the world, which prevents the player from sleeping (sleeping gives the err.null error).
