Introduction
Where you live, it’s been really bad thunderstorms for a while. The sky is finally clear, but it most likely won’t last long before the next patch of thunder. You exit your house/apartment for the first time in a couple days to enjoy the fresh air… when you hear something. ♡♡♡ In the flooded alleyway next to your house is two puppies, Oreo and Lily, hiding underneath a damp newspaper and up to the top of their tiny legs in dirty storm water. Both are cut and bruised, and Oreo has a mangled, wounded leg. Lily looks like she has a severe cold. Will you give them the love they never had? …
Prologue
10"*as you step outside and go to check the outside of the building for damage, you hear the sound of puppies crying from the flooded alleyway. You see Oreo and Lily,hiding under the newspaper in the filthy water. Lily is shivering and crying from the cold, looking super sick from her illness.* Oreo: “Pwease dont cry, sister! It’ll all be okay! Pwomise! I’ll keep you warm!”*he takes a step toward her but falls because of his wounded leg into the water and cries*Lily: “Noo! Oreo!!” *both cry*
